Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy was pioneered and developed, in the 1970s by the American Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research.

The Craniosacral System consists of the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, as well as the attached bones. These membranes extend from the bones of the skull, face and mouth (which make up the cranium) and down the spine to the sacrum or tailbone area.

Its goal is to release existing restrictions throughout the body, which alters the craniosacral fluid circulation and interfere in the communication between the nervous system and remains body structures, creating dysfunction and pathologies.
